Here you will find several thousand pictures of flowering plants of the Swiss flora.
Use the search field to enter the scientific (latin) name of a plant species. Alternatively, you can browse through the plant families albums at the left.
The photographs were mostly taken at wild locations in the Swiss cantons of Ticino, Grisons, Zurich and Schaffhausen between 2004 and 2024. Most of the pictures were taken by Hansjoerg Schlaepfer, a passionate amateur botanist.
